Dr. Bauer grew up in Bellbrook, Ohio. He received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into AOA Medical Honor Society. He completed his Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery residency training at Washington University in St. Louis and the affiliated Barnes-Jewish and St. Louis Children’s Hospitals. While at WashU, Dr. Bauer received numerous awards, including a national research award from the Triological ENT Society and the Resident Teaching Award during his resident chief year.
Dr. Bauer treats all aspects of the ear, nose, and throat for both adults and children. His specialty interests and expertise include thyroid and parathyroid disorders, salivary gland disease, sleep apnea including the Inspire nerve stimulator, cancer of the head and neck, nasal and sinus disorders, and ear diseases.
In his spare time, Dr. Bauer enjoys spending time with his wife, Chelsea, and daughter, Emery. He looks forward to caring for you and his hometown community.
