Dr. Turner's specific areas of interest include the medical and surgical treatment of patients with hearing and balance disorders, and chronic sinus and nasal disease in adults and children. He performs all major ear surgeries, including ear drum repair and ear tumor removal, hearing restoration (stapedectomy, aural atresia repair, ear bone reconstruction, cochlear implantation and bone anchored hearing aids), surgical and office procedures for vertigo, and surgery on the eustachian tube.
Dr. Turner is an assistant clinical professor at Wright State University School of Medicine and the director of the Hearing Loss/Cochlear Implant Program at Dayton Children's Medical Center.
